Character designs are moving along smoothly. Did up a new style test the other day that I think will be highly effective for illustrating the book while also greatly speeding up production.
The overall story is being ironed out and refined every day. I just thought up an interesting framing device the other day that would even allow me to bring in one of the Crimson Dames much earlier into the tale than initially anticipated which is very exciting.
Funding wise were closer than ever to pulling this thing off but at the same time were worlds away from where we need to be.
We need patrons more than ever willing to help reduce the financial burden of production. Currently were 134.92 away from the 600 we need. If we can get close to even 400 I could make it work by doing commissions on the side or selling more of my collectibles.
I'm pretty sure its going to take getting some actual pages down as well as some high end illustrations for promotion to really get the traction we need. I just have to decide on the order to start making them.
If I can get some of these auctions to move it will give me a lot more breathing room time wise to build up the portfolio.
If any one can recommend any other venues to reach out to I would greatly appreciate it. This comic is going to be a reality one way or another, it'll just be a difference of whether it happens this year or five years down the road, and I'm pretty sure no one wants to wait that long. XD
I'm more than willing to put in the hours to make it a success I just need more help getting the word out to prospective patrons. ^ _^;
Thanks again keep checking out the Patreon feed to updates regarding story and character development. ^_~
P.S. Don't forget I'm selling prints too to help raise funds to cover this months bills.
Should I add in a second free print to sweeten the deal?
