I started a piece for the project in the vain hopes that I might have been selected and while It is now complete I still have a chance to submit it to a March Madness contest being held between the Art Institutes were I am currently pursuing my Bachelors in Media Arts and Animation. There seems to be no rules concerning this contest beyond submitting your own work and being a member of the school. So I'll be submitting the best of my personal works to that contest as well and hope for the best. =p
I added a new article to the Perilous quest section concerning Necromancer Classes. One for Paladins is on the way too but i needed to knock this one out before attempting to write Lich Baulter's bio. He's a lead villain and thus has a lot of information concerning his concept and roll in the story.
I also added a Livestream embedded video for those interested in seeing me work... all 3 of you. XD
Came up with some sketches for some unique undead creatures I might be rendering in the near future. The Necropede and Cinderhen. Just a few of the interesting ways that such a fantastical concept as Necromancy could be used to make war in Perilous Quest.
Oh yeah in my 3D studio class I'm allowed to pick my own project! So I'll be attempting to render a realistic human skeleton with the intention of adapting it to be a mini action figure similar to the Revoltech and Figma lines of figures. Then if everything goes to plan I'm looking to get it designed into a mold and have the whole thing 3D printed. that way I can start producing skeletal models with the intent to sell them to artist supply stores... would be much better than those crappy wooden dolls they push on art students. Wish me luck on that one... had to spend the whole day upgrading my computer to 3DS Max 2013 so the work should go much smoother from now on.
Anyway back to work for me, gotta keep moving forward If I'm ever going to make a living at this. = 0=
