I have a sprawling epic that tells of never ending war waged between the forces of light and dark. A bombastic romp about an athletic girl who dares to challenge the authority of 20 Dinosaur Overlords. A bittersweet tale about a circus performer kidnapped by a gigantic raven, and even a spastic strip about the misadventures of two creepy children one named Kid and the other Dog.
So I had to boil them down to their primordial essence and decide on a name suitable for the creations as well as their creator. In the end I was able to narrow it down to a single element that is in all of my stories. Be it a lone Paladin fending off waves of undead soldiers, or the simple struggles of keeping a loved one fed, the theme of protector was one that I often returned to in my tales.
So in the end I decided on Aegis. A shield, a protector, a defender of the weak. Someone who would always stand against the forces of darkness not matter how overwhelming their forces be. So my friends welcome to Studio Aegis. Let our tales gird you with ideals greater than the sum of those who would dare stand against you in malice and spite. Dare to dream again of worlds where one person can effect real change.
