Inks underway for the next novella pic! This time showcasing some of RRH: Prisoner's unique combat style. Also some random sketches peeps liked. And something from the past?

Forgot to post that I finished this piece! XD
Is loaded up on the website now for the patron sections. realized too that the link to my last pic wasnt working too, should be good to go now. remember you can log in under Patrons if you are one and see the early access, high res files! Managed to zero in on the adjustments I needed by flipping the canvas, am always forgetting to do that to ensure things look correct in both directions.
Just need to knock out the ground and I'll be able to start up the colors! Rilly need to research a means to make it easier to tell how to support my work via the website, has been too long since any new patrons signed on. I wish I had the time to keep up the sketches like before but they were just eating up too much time, and people weren't seeing enough progression for my main projects. Need to find me a new quality local print shop too, the old one I was using just wont be a viable option. That way I can get some new physical goods for the patrons. Inks are progressing for Orphan! Hair needs more work doesn't feel quite right just yet but is getting there. ^ o^
Finally got Standards inks just about finished for this pic! Need to finish adding the scales of her under armor and tighten up some of the line weights.
Then I'll begin inking Orphan! shes about 75% transformed here, already double her original size and her muzzle full of fangs is starting to elongate! At this point in the story Prisoner and Vampire have both fallen into a collapsed floor and wound up in a strange warped space within the seams of the doom cabin. Will the Monstress succeed in in using Orphan to slay her intruders?? Next novella Illustration I'm working on.
Some items don't feel quite like their working yet and some of the adjustments I've made feel like they've thrown off the balance, so I'll have to tinker with the overall layout. Not sure if Orphan's face in this pic is quite working out, feels a tad small too. Contemplating redoing the expression entirely. The big tendrils are just about complete now, debating if i need to lessen their line weight tho. Want to maintain a sense that their much closer to us.
Current progress with the next novella illustration! :D
Really liking how this one is developing so far. ^_ ^ |
