With the background textured I started working in the highlights, starting with the cloth at the bottom. Experimented with a lot of different colors for it but found that a purple hue complimented the reds and orangy flesh tones best.
Am now working the highlight into Lady Wolf in the back. Man the reduced scale drawing never feels quite as good as the high res version I'm working on. I need to find a more efficient means of reducing their scale. Has to be a setting I'm missing somewhere. Is looking more and more like I wont be able to reach my personal goal of Halloween for this piece despite my earlier start for it sadly. .o , I'm sure tho that the extra time poured into it will really shine through at the end. ;D What do you think so far? Any thing feel off yet? Any details stand out as needing a touch up or second pass? Send any feedback my way and consider joining the Discord or livestreams to be able to see it worked live and join the conversation. ^_ ^
