Vessels - Marionette Box

Ended up redesigning this box some.

Originally it was going to be strange artifacts for the arcana section.

It's still a strange artifact but its more interesting now.

I've always been fascinated by these Japanese styled jointed dolls/marionettes.

I'd actually like to own a life size figure of this style some day.

I'll have to either make it myself or hire someone else to do it.

Story wise I do plan to have some of these as enemy creatures eventually.

They start off as the prototypes of what eventually become the panzers.

Only at this stage they have no use of their limbs but full consciousness still.

I've imagine entire video game boss fights using these before. were a massive mechanical spider puppeteers them into lashing out at intruders. I'd like to do another full illustration featuring them down the road.

Is she just being taken out of the box and assembled? Or is she about to be packed up and put into storage?
