Finally it is complete!
Had some snags along the way that really drew out the time it took to finish, but I'm really happy with how it came out. The "clothed version with logo" is the general release version. (Wood Tier) (Free) Copper Tier Patrons can access the High Res variants with or without logo. ($2) Silver Tier Patrons gain access to the Nude Variants! Topless, Bottomless, and Nude. ($10) Gold Tier Patrons gain access to the original .PSDs were they can examine how its all put together. (For Learning Purposes Only) ($20) Little by little a story started to form in my head concerning where this piece falls in the wider story. And I think it will work best as a frontier mission that has become isolated when surrounding towns were destroyed by the various monsters that roam those lands. A chapel where some of the patrons have become werewolves. Rather than simply give in to the lure of power and lust they do what they cant to resist and maintain their humanity. They would play a role later in the series, somewhere in the third arc where things are at their most dire, and help illuminate the true nature of those cursed with lycanthropy for the Crimson Dames. Tell me what you all think and please don't forget to help spread the word!

So close now!
I need to get some more details into the skin color wise. Mebe draw in a few bristles growing in. Perhaps a few wisps of ethereal fog. I had swapped gears half way through that the big wolf ended up being a female. I wonder if i shouldn't put some ear rings in. Since I can turn on and off the clothing and dreaded teets I wonder if I shouldn't consider putting this on a shirt of some sort. Or perhaps jut get some prints made. Background feels a tad sparse still. Oh yeah I need to add some drool to the big wolf too. Got this weird idea story wise that the biggun might just bight off the smallun's head should she fail to fully turn. No room for weakness! For sure tho this will be finished tomorrow. Man I'm right impressed with myself at how well the big wolf came out. I'm really glad I didn't settle for anything on this piece. Is one of my better pieces involving human and lycanthropic anatomy. I'm not so sure it tells a strong enough story though, but there's a few subtle elements here and there that could help push one. Tell me what you think so far, is there anything you think is missing? Do you think theres a better title to call the piece by? Does anyone read these?? I do read ally the comments. Or at least I would if anyone left any. T oT Been a challenge trying to find a color scheme best suited to push for a horror pulp theme.
I'm still not quite sold with where it's at just yet but its getting closer. The big wolf in the back I think is working, but I might just have to go with a more natural color scheme for the girl. Candle Flames don't feel good enough yet I'll give those another pass later before fully rendering them. Still a ways to go but I'm still digging how its slowly starting to come together. Tell me what you all think, does it have that Pulp Horror Vibe yet? Is it too Garrish? or not enough so? Or should i go with something a tad more natural? Just realized I never posted a clean ink set for the clothed and non clothed variants.
I even set it up so there can be just a topless (and or bottomless) variant. Only the first of these final versions will be available to non patrons. Which one do you like more?? Finally got the bulk of the flat colors put together.
I'm trying to go for more of a pulp horror style for the colors with this one, hence the strange color set for the shewolf so far. Still a lot of experimenting to go before its all all ready to go. I'm pretty happy with how her clothing came out tho maybe its still not enough to be considered truly SFW. What do you think? The clothed variant will be the publicly released version and the Nude variant will be for the Silver Tier and above. I don't think that these flames are working just it'll get there tho. ^ _^ Finally!
The main body inks are complete! Now I just need to do up the torn clothing she'll be wearing for the SFW variant. Man I can't believe how long it took me to get that stupid arm to work. Everything else came together so quickly. = o= Really hate when stuff like that happens. As this is to be a gallery piece I couldn't let myself settle for such a glaring imperfection. I wanted to try and experiment on some Pulp Novella type colors for this pick. Was leaning towards a sickly green potentially. But we'll see what feels right on the day of. XD Hope you all like it as much as I do so far. I wish I could get stuff of this level knocked out in a single day. Please be sure to leave me feed back on what you like so far, where ever you'd like. Do you like it? hate it? Love it? have a recommendation? I really would like to hear from my fans more often. Don't be shy thinking your not skilled enough to lend a proper critique. Sometimes an amateur can more easily pick out an odd bit of anatomy than the person whose been staring at it too closely for too long. XD Phewa much better progress tonight!
Just gotta finish inking this background now. Oh and the background. X0 I might need to make some adjustments to these hands still though. They still feel a tad off to me. What do you all think about them so far? Any recommendations on what feels off? Man I need to find a better way to speed up this inking process. Should have finished 3 pages of inks by this point. TT oTT Thanks again so much for all of your patron support! :D Aurg THIS HAND!
Man yesterday I had one of those days were nothing I drew came out right, primarily concerning this one hand, spent over 12 hours trying to find a pose that works, and in my sleep deprived state I thought this looked okay but now with fresh eyes I'm just like... "Aurrg!" Hopefully today I can get it figured out. Did some tweaks to the shewolf's anatomy. I need to tweek her legs a bit still. The big werewolf's lower body feels off balance at this point, due mostly because of how fast I was having to move by the end of the night. Hrmm I'm wondering if shouldnt just make the big werewolf a female too. There isn't a lot of space to bring out the musculature the way I originally wanted and I the shape dynamic would better get the point across I think. not sure just yet, what do you think? Was really hoping I would have been done with the inks by now. once that hand is shorted out the rest will fall into place pretty quickly. One thing I need to address a bit better is getting across the idea of short body fur on the lower extremities feels a bit sparse at the moment. Feels like I took a step backwards yesterday over all. Maybe I've just deprived myself of sleep too much the last couple of days being so gung ho to finish the inks. :\ Is quite the challenge to get the werewolf fur to have the right sense of body and floof, so to speak.
This one hand is giving me trouble, took a considerable amount of time to get it looking this good, but it still feels off, cant quite put my finger on why yet. I've been making non stop adjustments to the big werewolf this whole time, and it still has a ways to go, but I'm still digging where its going. What do you all think about it? I really do want to hear what you all think whether positive or negative so I can better gauge what I'm doing wrong. XD As always please help to spread the word, I'm really hoping to move into a new apartment this year but i need a stronger following to support the increase in financial obligation such a move will bring. :0 |
